Baby Will is Born!

Our sweet boy is finally here.....this week has been perfect! :) He truly is the sweetest and easiest baby. No really, I am beginning to wonder if something is wrong with him because he is so good..... We'll see how long it lasts! :)

Here are some pictures of Will's birth.....the night before and the day after..... I will have to post some more pictures of him later. They change so much each day! We have no clue who he looks like.....but comparing him to Liza....he is definitely all boy. But, I do see some resemblance of Liza in him.

Again, I will post more pictures of just him later....a lot of these are just hospital/family pics......Enjoy! :)

Sunday night......Grandparents are in town......Liza's last chance to have them all to herself......

Well......sorta....

Monday morning:

4:40 am: Shower for hospital.....anxiously awaiting the phone call....

5:00am: Hospital calls and says to come on in at 6:00!

Ready to go! One last shot of Will in my belly! :)

Hooked up and ready to go.....

And here he is! :) William Lee Parish was born at 1:46 pm weighing 8lbs and 15.6 oz. So....I think it is only fair to give him that .4 of an ounce and call him a 9 pounder. :) He was 21 1/2 inches long. His labor and delivery was a bit more painful than Liza's, but only because it was so fast. It was more intense pain, but because it was over so soon, the recovery was so much easier! And so far....he has been easy since!

On our way out of the delivery room and into our regular room.....

Checking baby brother out.....

Loving baby Will......

Naked Saturday...

Knowing we for sure were going to have a baby Monday, we spent Saturday doing things around the house that "needed" to be done. Lee had the ultimate "honey do" list.....and was the best husband around! Liza had so much fun being our helper all day.....and somehow, she ended up just in her diaper for half of the day.....these are some of my favorite pictures! Enjoy! :)

Liza was daddy's "right hand man" while he was putting in more cabinet locks to keep her out....She must have gotten her job description wrong, though.....I guess she thought we called for a plumber......

Nothing like a booty and a blanket to get the job done! :)

Next on the "Naked" agenda: Sam's bath.....

Sav A Life

Help Save a Life by voting for me!!!

Hey Friends and Fam....

I think most of you already know, but for those who aren't familiar, Sav A Life is a non-profit, pregnancy help organization. It is a safe and confidential place for women to receive free counseling, pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and educational materials. They also offer various classes/courses and give away baby essentials such as formula, clothes, and diapers.

They depend solely on contributions.

Please go to
http://www.salmacon.com/ to read more about Sav A Life.

Lee and I entered Liza in a "portrait contest" fundraiser they are conducting. Yes, there are (fabulous) prizes for the winners....but please know that is not our goal. Our goal is to help raise money for this amazing organization. Each vote costs only $1.00. Just think how much money they could raise if everyone put in even just $10 towards their favorite picture!

If you want to see all the precious kids (again, I am proving I don't just want Liza to win)...go to
www.swsphoto.com/savalife When you move your mouse over the photo, it should give you a number.

To vote, go to
http://www.salmacon.com/ and look to the left. It says "Vote Here." Click on donate and simply follow the instructions. To designate who you are voting for, in the space provided or in the comments section simply write "Liza Parish" or you can put the number picture of any of the cute kids you chose from the bunch. I think there are 85 kids entered.....if you want, you could place 1 vote for all 85! :)

Thanks so much for reading! Please support this wonderful ministry and go Vote for Liza! :)

Lee goes to lunch with Shae Hinson yesterday.....and comes home with flowers! Aren't Katie and I the luckiest 2 ladies? :)

Here are some pics I took just playing around this morning. She is growing up so fast! Yesterday, after showing her how, she even smelled the flowers Lee brought me......put her nose in them and took a big, cute sniff......just a couple of weeks ago those flowers would have been all in her mouth!

Baby Will update:
My previous posting says Friday is the date.....well, maybe not anymore. There is no room for me at the hospital Friday so it will probably be Monday. Either way, he is coming soon, and I can't wait to meet my sweet baby Will!

8 days and counting!!!

New Due Date!

Here is my baby belly as of today! (Yes, I am a dork and took them by myself.....I really like to have pictures to acompany blog postings.....so here you go....).

We went to the doctor this morning for a check-up. They did an ultrasound and baby Will measured around 7 pounds and 5 ounces. They said it is hard for that to be completely accurate, so give or take a pound.

Even though I am due Aug. 30th, Dr. Carlton is going to go ahead and induce me on Aug. 21st! That is 1 week from tomorrow!!! :)
I am very ready and very excited to meet my sweet little boy. I am praying for all to go well: labor, delivery, healthy baby, Liza to adjust well, etc.
Overall, it has been a wonderful pregnancy. I don't know that those pictures do my belly justice.....I really think it looks gigantic in person. But, I am not as big as I was with Liza. Whew! :) The only major complaint I have from this pregnancy is the whole carpul tunnel's sydrome I have had for about 2-3 months now. I sleep with wrist braces and my fingers are numb, painful and tingly all the time. I will be ready to have normal hands back. Otherwise, sweet Will, you have been a pleasure to grow and carry around! :) Unfortunately for Lee, I have easy pregnancies...... Maybe I wouldn't want so many kids if they were harder for me to grow! hahaha....
In other Parish news: Liza got tubes put in her ears Monday. She is doing great! I was amazed at how easy it was......everyone (doctors and friends) said it would be a breeze, but my heart was still a bit nervous. Thank you, Lord, for such a smooth day and great days following. And thanks to our friend, Dr. Correa for putting them in and taking care of our little girl!

A friend sent me this picture of Lee from the last race he was in. I have no clue where she got it or who took it.....she said it is going to be in some newsletter. Of course, I thought it was great so I am sharing it! :)
